Layer 3 IP/MPLS VPN
Layer 3 MPLS VPN is a multipoint-to-multipoint layer 3 virtual private network service provided to your business to interconnect your site through OGERO carrier network, based on Layer 3 IP/MPLS technology with 4 different classes of service.
- Layer 3 MPLS VPN Default CoS:
This is a best-effort CoS (Class of Service) suitable for delay-tolerant and burst applications e.g. e-mail and web browsing. This Class is the default Class; all traffic not prioritized in the other queues will be serviced in this Class.

This is a CoS (Class of Service) that provides the highest possible guarantees on latency and throughput, reserved for latency-sensitive applications e.g. real-time Voice over IP (VoIP) or Video on Demand or IPTV.

- Discounts for same customer connections on the same VPN are as follows:
- 10-19 links : 10% discount
- 20-29 links : 15% discount
- 30-39 links : 20% discount
- 40+ links : 25% discount
For DSP’s: discounts apply on the number of connections of the DSP’s own network, and on the number of connections belonging to each of their clients’ configuration.
For ISP’s: discounts apply on the number of connections of the ISP’s own network, and on the number of connections belonging to each of their clients’ configuration.
- If requested speed is between plans then the tariffs for the lower speed plan applies (example: 60Mbps MPLS Default Access – monthly fee: 962,500 LL / 50 Mbps x 60).
- All discounts apply on monthly fees only and not on installation fees.
- Customers will apply through Ogero, who will complete customer file with requested technical feasibility and official documents, and forward their applications to the Ministry of Telecommunications to issue the appropriate decision.
- Deposit or bank guarantee is fixed by Minister’s decision: it’s two times (2x) the amount of the monthly fee for the requested speed (and it is calculated BEFORE any discounts are applied).
