IoT Leb, the forefront of events
concerning Internet of Things (IoT) in Lebanon hosted the IoT-Leb 2019 this
year on March 13th at the Saint
Joseph University.
The aim of the event was
to discuss and contribute to the integration of IoT within the Lebanese market
and establish Lebanon in the international IoT market. This event was supported
by numerous sponsors including Ogero, Data Consult, Bank Audi, and many others
who could be considered stakeholders in the IoT market within Lebanon.
The main focus of
this conference was to highlight the infrastructure and foundation of IoT
through panel topics such as IoT usage cases, Agrifood, IoT devices, and IoT
Network Infrastructure.
Among the numerous
renowned speakers who presented at the Network Infrastructure panel was the
Ministry of Telecom’s very own Head of National Exploitation Services, Mr.
Antoine Aoun.
Such events set a
positive precedent for the collaborative effort Lebanon’s market can produce to
expand and improve the overall connectivity and quality of life within Lebanon.
